The PGA or Professional Golfer’s Association is the organisation that represents professional golfers.
Discover our lessons
Golf is a sport that can be learned and perfected at any age and at any level. The Five Nations Golf Club has its own academy. It offers lessons supervised by professional players recognised by the PGA of Belgium (PGA of Europe) for teaching and training. We offer a range of courses to suit all requirements.
HEAD-PRO
Laurent Richard
Laurent Richard began playing at the Durbuy golf course in 1991. He rapidly turned professional and taught for 10 years at the Durbuy golf course and at the Five Nations golf club.
At the same time, Laurent played at the various levels of professional, European, Challenge tours and all satellite tours. A 9-time champion of Belgium, he continues to participate in national competitions.
In 2017, he was named Head Coach of AFGolf, for which he trained young elite French-speaking players.
In 2018, he undertook training in order to become involved in developing the Paragolf unit of the Belgian Golf Federation, which trains and introduces disabled people to the sport. Laurent has also been training new coaches at the PGA since 2018.
PRO
Scott Kloosterman
Scott has a BPJEPS Golf (Professional Certificate in Youth, Popular Education, and Sports, specializing in Golf Activities) state diploma. This training has allowed him to work as a professional golf instructor since 2024.
Before joining our establishment, Scott gave private and group lessons, supervised advanced and beginner courses, taught children and teenagers, and accompanied players on the course at Club Med.

PRO
Jordan Frenay
Passionate about golf since a very young age, Jordan has worked at several known golf courses: Sart-Tilman Royal golf club, Fagnes Royal Golf club, Royal Hainaut. After a period as an expatriate in Spain at the Costa Ballena Golf course, Jordan joined Durbuy Golf Resorts in 2021. He gives lessons to all comers at the Durbuy golf course. Jordan still plays professional tournaments.

In Belgium, the PGA has existed since the 1920s. It is part of the CPG (Confederation of Professional Golf)
The professional players who teach at the academy are trained in teaching and training by the Belgian PGA.
